This koi could have died from old age as everything was fine water quality and there was no signs of fish diseases as well. I know as a result of my koi not eating he started to slim down and some of the koi fish scales were seen throughout my indoor pond as they have been falling off. With the pet stores purchasing fish all the time leaving them in small conditions, you will have a more likely chance of bringing diseases back to your aquarium or koi fish pond.

When buying koi from fish farms they are grown outdoors in large bodies of water resulting in maximum growth potential unlike the stunted fish you may buy at pet stores. Fish farms are the best way to buy koi as they are well taken care of unlike the new employees at pet stores with little experience.

Buying koi from fish farms are the best way to ensure your koi are healthy and well taken care of by the experts. When deciding on buying and introducing new koi to your aquarium or fish pond you should strongly think of koi fish farms. Salt is a very effective form of treatment for fish. The moral of this story is quarantine your fish to reduce headaches and save you some money in the long run.
